My dog has just had 6 pups any advice on what i should be doing by the way its a jack russell?

as long as mom is licking them and looking after them do nothing for the time being,they should have some sort of warm soft bedding such as an old towel, in a day you will want to very gently move them and change the bedding, make sure the room is comfortablly warm and mom will do the rest . , II'v bred german sheppards for 25 years . just enjoy the wonder of natureMy dog has just had 6 pups any advice on what i should be doing by the way its a jack russell?

Did it ever occur to you to research this question BEFORE your dog was mated or had pups? How can people just do things without knowing what or how to do it? I keep saying I am sorry to people for being hard on them, but I'm not.





Your female could have died. Her pups could die. What would you have done if one of the pups got stuck? Or the mother started bleeding?
feed her puppy food, she will need the extra nutrition and calories for feeding her puppies.
