What other ways are there without using a camera? My money has been stolen lately by the household help and I need some advice on how to catch that person?
I say you put some hidden cameras in. My brother in law owns a company where they put cameras in teddy bears, picture frames, etc.. Check if there is a company like this in your area and call them. If you have more than 1 employee, you can single them out this way without hurting the others. You can even prosecute if you have it on video. My money has been stolen lately by the household help and I need some advice on how to catch that person?
what i would do is put everyone in the house hold in the same boat let them know the money was stolen and you will let them all go if the actual party don't confess also a suggestion you also might keep your money in a small safe locked up
set a trap. Such as plant money when nobody else is in the house, and check to see if its still there when that person leaves the room. Are there more than one person under suspicion? If so, get them all together and confront them. Tell them that you know that money has been taken and if the thief does not speak up right then you will be forced to let them all go. Sometimes the person will feel guilty enough about causing the termination of the others that they will confess. If you are not willing to let them all go if needed, then lock your money up when workers are to be in the house.
If you don't want to use a camera (which you should), then think about keeping a VCR on record. You could also put an alarm on the room or safe where the money is. Considering you have enough money to hire household help, you must have enough for a private investigator to catch the person.
Put some money on a table. Position it so it looks miscellaneous. Take a glass and on the outside place a few drops of food dye and let the glass dry. Put ice water in the glass. Place the glass of ice water on the money. If the money remains there the sweat from the glass will land on and wet the money. If not it will wet the surface the money is on and the culprit will hvae dye on their hands.
