people tell me that if i go to school for it il be with a bunch of girls and gay men..but im straight...what are the benefits of being an esthetician and cons...are there any other similar jobs dealing with the skinI want to be an esthetician. Don't let people tell you that a job is only for people of a certain gender or sexual orientation. If it makes you happy, do it. If it is a field full of women and gay guys, you'll be surrounded by women with no competition. There's nothing gay about that!I want to be an esthetician. So let me get this straight (sorry!)...you're gonna be in school with a bunch of people who are going to find you sexually attractive?





Seriously, it's not gonna make you gay, and if it's what you want to do, go for it. A few people will assume you're gay, but since these people will likely make assumptions about anyone, don't worry about it. Just go out and learn your trade.
