I had intercourse on a friday and a week later i had my period many people tell me that this not means that i am not pregnant is this true? i did not skip my period but could i be pregnant?Could i be pregnant?...please i need advice?

you don't normally ovulate a week before your period so it would be unlikely that you got pregnant from that anyway


but most people don't get their periods when they are pregnant


if it's not your normal cycle (you started bleeding too early and it's light) it could be implantation bleeding but the way you describe it that's not likely
if you had sex but then recieved a period for that month. Means no pregnancy. but if you havedoubts you are best taking a pregnancy test and blood test just to make sure.

Some people still have their period while pregnant. If you have any other symptoms or miss your next period then I would go get a test. Right now it is too soon to tell though.
