Need advice on my female dog who is in season?

I have a female dog aged 2 years. She is in season and has been bleeding, a couple of days ago she managed to escape from the garden through a small hole in the fence. She wasnt gone to long but since coming back the bleeding has stopped. And she has only been in season for a week or so i`m worried that she may have gotten pregnant. Will a female dog still bleed till the end of her season or will the bleeding stop as soon as she gets pregnant. Any advice on this matter will be massively appreciated.Need advice on my female dog who is in season?
When this happens, you have to look at it as if she has been caught. Females who are ready to be mated can seek a mate every bit as much as the other way round. Some bitches (in my experience because I got thumbs down when I said this before lol), do stop bleeding far more quickly after they have been successfully mated - although again I had one who was mated and promptly came back into showing blood through her third week. I didn't think she had taken. She had 9 healthy bouncing puppies. When she escaped, had her discharge paled to a straw colour - this is a sign she is coming up to her mating days - also was she moving her tail?

Whatever the case, if this has just happened, get her to your vet. He can give her a shot to abort any possible pregnancy. Take his advice as to how best to proceed. Do something because you don't know the size of the potential sire, and if he was much bigger than your b itch, she will be at serious risk if she has been caught.Need advice on my female dog who is in season?
She may well have been mated, she will be most receptive and fertile during her second week. You can take her to a vet to get a ';morning after'; pill to stop the pregnancy.

The bleeding lessens or stops during the second week and may well be replaced by a clear or milky fluid, the bleeding part of the cycle is natures way of preparing the uterus for a pregnancy.

Please get your dog spayed as there is no reason to keep her entire and she will be MUCH healthier and less prone to cancers and life threatening infections if she is spayed. Wait for a month after the heat, as her reproduction organs will be at their minimum size then and the spay will be easier on her system.
When girls are in season they should never, ever be left out of your sight.....not even in the most secure of yards. If she has been in season for a week or so she is at the perfect time to breed so, unfortunately, she likely was indeed bred when she escaped your yard.

The wise thing to do, of course, is to go have her spayed so you don't have to worry about the expense of a litter.

Good Luck!
The bleeding during a heat will lessen during the time that they are really attractive to male dogs, then it will come back. I suggest you get her to the vet ASAP as soon as she's completely out of heat and get her spayed.
No, they do not bleed until the end of their season.. it starts to lighten in color and taper off as they become the most fertile.

Get her spayed now. End of worry and issue.
WHY the BLANK wasn't it SPAYED a year %26amp; a 1/2 ago???

DO IT TODAY!!!!
Don't delay, spay today!

Please spay your dog, she very well could be pregnant.
