Need some advice on training two dogs together. They are mother and daughter and the youngest is about one yr?

The main problems are leash training, digging in the yard, and in the younger of the two yelps uncontrolably whenever somthing she doesn't like is happening. I am not affraid to put in the work I just don't know what the work i need to do is.Need some advice on training two dogs together. They are mother and daughter and the youngest is about one yr?
Start with long walks, daily. What breed are these dogs? That also helps. Dogs dig when they are bored. The younger one sounds like she needs some training with a professional trainer. When dogs yelp like that they need a lot of work or a bite will be in the future. Something has triggered her to yelp, something bad happened?Need some advice on training two dogs together. Well, I would suggest working with each dog individually on leash training to start. When each get the hang of it, training them to walk together will be easier. A trick I've learned is that if you have one fast dog and a slower dog, put a doggy backpack with water bottles or something to add weight onto the larger dog. It slows them down.

Digging in the yard for non terrier breeds can usually be taken care of with more exercise for the dogs. So more walks, more training time. With terrier breeds, a sandbox with hidden toys/treats is great. You can usually teach the terriers to only dig there pretty easily.

The yelping uncontrollably is something that will take a lot of work. The dog needs some good obedience training and socialization. The best way to get that is to sign the dog up for obedience classes. And keep signing up for them until the dog is behaving the way you want it too.
