I am in 1st in my roto Yahoo 5x5 league, about 18 points ahead of the next guy. Doing fine in every category. I get a trade offer today from the last place guy.
My team now:
C: Posada
1B: Howard
2B: Phillips
3B: Zimmerman
SS: H. Ramirez
OF: Sizemore, Crawford, Markakis
UT: Konerko
Bench: Pence
SP: Cain, Weaver, Sabathia, Lincecum, Hughes, Martinez, Perez
RP: Saito, Gregg, Ray, Neshek, Capps
I give: Posada, Phillips, Zimmerman, Pence, Markakis, Hughes, Martinez
I get: Fielder, Rollins, Guerrero, Bonds, Bay, Carpenter, Lo Duca, Orlando Hudson
So I downgrade from Phillips to Hudson at 2B, Posada to whoever at C, and Zimmerman to pick up Gordon at 3B for a huge bunch of studs, most of whom will ride the bench. Am I insane? Is there any reason to mess with a good thing? Or was I just given a gift and should accept it with open arms? Thanks for the help.A bizarro-world fantasy baseball trade...Any advice would be appreciated?
this is an awesome trade on your part you got a bunch of players who will be good this year and years to come examples: fielder guerro and hudson i think are gunna get better next year
but the downside is carpenter may b out til the end of the season .
another down side is bonds bay and loduca just gunna get worst
rollins is good if he stays out of injury trouble
but dont think the downsides are bad the good thing is overpowering the bad parts.
but you wil have to suffer without a catcher cuz posadas good and pence and hughes are awsome rookies even though hueghes is injueredA bizarro-world fantasy baseball trade...Any advice would be appreciated?
That is a great trade for you. Your highest pick was probably Phillips at 90. You get Guerreero:1st round pick, Jimmy Rollins, 2-3 round pick, Fielder85 pick, but already has 30(just hit one tonight),Bonds,(value will go way up after breaks record) Jason Bay, a 3rd round pick, Carpender, a 2-3 round pick, and Hudson.
that was a great trade 4 you considered your self lucky
why the hell are you not starting hunter pence over nick markakis... or konerko at utill...?
You would be ABSOLUTELY INSANE if you did not jump all over this trade!!! This is a heavily weighted trade to you and an absolute NO-BRAINER!!! Getting Rollins, Guerrero, and Fielder....... is just way too much to turn down...... You could give away a whole lot more........ for what you are getting.
You definitely should make this trade. You will lose some at C, 2B, %26amp; 3B like you say, but it's worth it. Hudson is certainly adequate, or you can pick up decent alternatively at those positions. Your outfield, SS, %26amp; 1B positions just got absolutely AWESOME. What I would do if I was you is, I would look to possibly trade to make those other positions solid again. Using Howard or Fielder and/or Ramirez or Rollins as trade bait, try to upgrade your C, and/or 2B, and/or, 3B postitions. Having to sit at least one of those four studs every week...... would be a waste..... Trade at least one of them away.
The only negative I see in this trade........ is that it is SO heavily weighted to your side........ that I seriously doubt that it will get past the other managers. I would be very surprised if the other managers in the league do not vote against this WAY lopsided trade........ and nullify it. If you are able to pull it off...... I think you will likely run away with the league. ;)
Good Luck with it,
The Dark Lord
In an all-allstar team league like this you want to squeeze the most out of every position. Your bench spots don't matter because you don't use them; you're not playing matchups, you're starting 10 studs every day.
So, downgrading at 2.5 positions isn't worth it. Sure, you get Guerrero %26amp; Bonds, but where do you put them? Where are you going to make up the dropoff you suffer at C (huge), 2B (pretty big), and 3B (small if any, Gordon %26amp; Zimmerman are about equal)? If you bench Sizemore or Crawford you fall back in SB. You can sit Markakis and Konerko, but you don't get it back.
See if the guy will take out the two catchers and still do the deal. Keep in mind too that you'll have to drop another guy (probably Neshek) to make this deal, and then drop someone else to pick up Gordon. The deal looks pretty good but when you look closer it totally screws up your roster.
What you should be trying to do is deal your excess strengths to improve your weaker positions. Give everything you've got to get someone better than Zimmerman, Markakis, or Konerko.
And, in the final analysis, you're playing in a league where every manager drafts an all-star team and you've already won the league. Your best bet is to quit this league and go find a league that's actually worth playing in.
great trade for u. i just have 1 question. how is some1 with fielder, rollins, vladdy, bonds, and hudson in last? what kind of league are u in?

I am thinking of removing my hair extension soon looking for the right advice?
I just did a hair extension today glue method, but I kinda read on the website about the bad side of using glue for the extension, now I am thinking of removing it! I want to know if I take my hair extension soon that my hair will already break?, Or as long as I take my extension out tomorrow that my hair will be save from any further damage?I am thinking of removing my hair extension soon looking for the right advice?
Some stylists have a gentle hand and remove them like they would if it was their own hair. Others may act like they care, but they really just wanna get them out and get their money. If it is really hurting and they aren't sufficiently loosening the glue before they pull, then you're in trouble. I'm assuming you have the resin glue that you have to pinch to crumble and dissolve it.
I'm a stylist and have worked with other stylists like this. All my fellow stylists come to ME when they want to take their own extensions out because they know that i will be patient, take my time and not break their hair.I am thinking of removing my hair extension soon looking for the right advice?
i've had my hair extensions [glued] in for about a month now, and i've had them in before, they have never damaged my hair at all. as long as you keep up with shampooing and conditioner, and treat your hair nicely, your hair will be fine. when you do decide to take them out, just go and get glueremover stuff from sally's beauty supply, and deeply condition to get the glue out of your hair.

My girlfirend wants to be engaged by 2/14/09..... we started dating last month... advice please?
She is 33 i am 30. Things are great with us so far but we have only been dating for just over a month. Any advice would be helpful. My girlfirend wants to be engaged by 2/14/09..... we started dating last month... advice please?
It appears that you're not comfortable with this idea. One person can't dictate when both people will be ready to commit to each other. If you're not sure then you need to put it out there right now. My girlfirend wants to be engaged by 2/14/09..... we started dating last month... advice please?
She sounds like someone who is more focused on her romantic fantasy - a ring next Valentine's Day - than finding the right person and taking the time to build a relationship. I would find this very troubling.
There's nothing wrong with a woman wanting marriage, nor deciding that she will only date someone for a certain length of time with becoming engaged (like maybe a year), but to say that to a man she has been dating one month frankly sounds a little wacko.
Does it seem like she really likes YOU and understands who you are? Or does it seem like she is relating to you as the embodiment of some sort of fantasy. Beware of the latter, because when you turn out to be a real person she won't like it.
You might just want to wish her luck with her engagement plans and move on. That's a lot of pressure to put on a new relationship.
I wonder if it is you that she wants or is it a family?
Watch to see if her eyes light up for you or for the house, picket fence and children that she hopes you bring to her. Be extra careful if she hints she will quit working once she has a ring secured.
I would be very careful. Who wants to live their whole life fulfilling a role?
A banquet coordinator at a ritzy restaurant told me some girls book their wedding dates before they even find the unsuspecting groom. YIKES!
O god that's terrible
Sounds like she's more concerned with filling a position than who's filling it.
I smell desperation!
I had a friend who did this to her boyfriend. He moved to Texas without her knowing and then called her and broke it off. I think he felt like he was being pressured into marriage instead of being able to want marriage with her, so he just ran.
Good Luck with that one. Scary situation!
You should be honest with her. Tell her if you think things are going well, but if you don't feel comfortable with a time limit (which you shouldn't put a time limit on it).
She sounds kind of pushy. I would be concerned if she is pushy about this, she might be pushy about other things in the future as well.
Yes,
Run Forest Run
Your girlfriend is in love with her plan and she is working on making you fit into it
One month of dating is wayyyyyyy to soon for anyone to decide that the marriage will take place in 4 months or less-
Didn't know you had an expiration date, did ya? ;%26gt;
She is telling you to start saving up for the ring haha. So direct
But seriously this is the type of girl who feels she's getting older fast and doesn't want to waste her time. It's fair though, she gave you the heads up
Now decide if you both want the same things
A month dating is waaaaaay too soon to say something like that. It's different if you're dating a guy for a year and what to have the ';where is this relationship headed?'; talk. I would take things really, really slowly with her, if you want to continue dating her at all.
UMMMM, I believe this should be a big warning sign to you. It is obvious that she just wants to get married. You have to remember that you are part of this relationship too, not just her. It is ok to tell her that you are not ready to get engaged or married.
I suggest you to tell her to wait... If she loves you she'll wait... you need to get to know her the same for her... I know being in love makes people do crazy stuff... but a relationship is not right for only a month than marriage... she'll have to wait... Good luck.
She is more concerned with a date and you than dating to get to knowing you enough to get engaged to marry you. She sounds like a hopeless romantic judging by the date. Don't rush things.
So your buying a ring by Valentine's Day. You don't sound on board with this idea.
Run? Witness protection program? otherwise no pressure.
Sounds like she says things out loud that she should only be thinking. Yikes.
She has plans for you. Make sure it is your plan too.
Don't get engaged to her if you aren't ready, simple as that. Tell her of your intentions so that she is clear about them. Never let anyone pressure you into something you aren't ready for.
She has issues...
Don't continue with this unless you enjoy people with issues. A lot.

Dump That Bi tch!!!
RUN! NOW!!
Why are you with her?
of course not, you just met, this is your life.
Ask this question next year if you are still dating her. What is the rush? You hardly know her!.
run
she sounds a bit crazy...it sounds like she's determined and she'll settle for anyone, that being you.
I think that you should see what happens but it is really a little too soon to be booking wedding venues.
She is putting some serious pressure on a new relationship.
so next time she says it, say to her, good luck with that
that will shut her up
she has no right to force this on you
Tick tock. Does she love you or the idea of being engaged?
well she is jumping the gun. This should be your descion and whatever date or year you are ready is when it should be.you have only been Dating a month,It might not last.
that's kinda weird..you shouldn't put a time limit on getting engaged. i don't think you 2 have been together long enough for that...

OK I am going to join the track team in the spring but am really out of shape. Anyone have advice?
If you are wondering how out of shape I am it's pretty bad. I only ran about a mile and was gasping for breath.OK I am going to join the track team in the spring but am really out of shape. Anyone have advice?
Start at a half a mile and run - just a jog. Do that for a a week. Then move up to a mile do that for a week. Slowly move up to 3 miles. Make sure you don't go too soon too fast! And try to run on a soft surface! (Rubber track, grass, dirt) Not asphault on a track - you'll hurt yourself.
Just be very very careful of not starting doing too much or you'll injure yourself!OK I am going to join the track team in the spring but am really out of shape. Anyone have advice?
Try it a step at a time, try going for a smaller distance and when you get the hang of that, gradually increase the distance you are running. Practice this till you can run a lot and keep on practicing. Or maybe you should read about proper breathing techniques while running, try to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Eat and Drink well before you run and strech all your major muscles
well I was out of shape as well u gotta condition yourself if your school has a speed or strength program get into those usually help, If not ask the coach for a workout they usually do
join the cross country team or if u have like a swim team or indoor track team do that try running for about maybe 20 mins a day and work your way up to 30 mins then 40 and then to where your running about an hour everyday and if you have a local gym go to that and hit the treadmill
start to run every day, easy. slowly and with patience you will build up endurance and get faster and be able to run farther.nail polish dermatologist acne

Is there any general advice for avoiding errors in solving algebraic equations?
Try to work backwards when you have your answer to see if it fits
Do you think a moratorium should be called on childless people giving insane 'parenting advice' to parents?
Or complaining about what we do? If they are not a teacher, doctor, parent or other miscellaneous child development specialist, I don't want to hear it! lolDo you think a moratorium should be called on childless people giving insane 'parenting advice' to parents?
people who do not have ...or have taken care of children on a regular basis should not be able to give advise about raising children.....that like me qiving out electrical advise ...and I am not an electrician.U feel me ...it just doesn't make sense.Do you think a moratorium should be called on childless people giving insane 'parenting advice' to parents?
Lets lynch 'em!....................:)
I think they should get a time out.
Although I agree that insane advice should nether be given or taken, it is a fact that all adults have been children and therefore have some knowledge of the subject.
Sometimes people are too close to a problem to recognize it. People without children can be just as observant, sincere, and honest as those with children. All teachers, doctors and child development specialist are parents? I think not!
Obnoxious, unruly, mean spirited, socially inept children are observed equally by child and childless people.
Maybe not necessarily 'childless' people...I'm 18, and I've been taking care of my niece since she was born. I've helped raise my niece, one of my nephews, and a lot of other people's kids, to boot. I've babysat kids from just brought home from the hospital all the way up to pre-teens. However, I know there's no way in the world anyone can truly know what a parent goes through, but there are those who are familiar with some of the trials and tribulations. Just be patient with those that offer advice and understand that they don't know how inexperienced and annoying they sound to you. Some of them are just trying to help out.
No I don't.
I agree. I hate to see when someone ask about a child and someone says I don't have kids BUT...
What is the BUT they don't know anything. You don't know until you live it and we all do different things....I agree with you!
I worked in a day care for 3 years when I was young and thought I knew everything....NOPE I didn't...You got to live it 24/7 鈽衡樅
Just because one can have a baby does not mean they know how to raise one.
AMEN to that, hon!!!
People can give out all the advice they want, but the bottom line is:
YOU have to CHOOSE to TAKE the advice. No.
I see where you are coming from. I have to agree with you on that one. I haven't visited that section because my children are all grown. It would seem that one should have to ';pay the dues'; to give parental advice!

I would like any advice for dating/marrying a Filipina who is living there. I am in the United States.?
I met a great Filipina recently. We have much in common, and I am more into her than any girl I have met in the United States.I would like any advice for dating/marrying a Filipina who is living there. I am in the United States.?
I have an impression that you haven't met her in person. Why don't you visit her and spend time with her? Get to know her better then decide. Know her family and friends. See how she is around other people. I am a Filipina, too. But I just prefer that you make sure she's been true and sincere to you. It's possible that she's only after a green card.I would like any advice for dating/marrying a Filipina who is living there. I am in the United States.?
Man I say GO FOR IT!! I just recently married my wife in Cebu. My advice is make sure she is into YOU.
I'm filipina and filipina women are amazingly amazing haha of course, my mom is the most understanding lady you will ever meet and she's an awesome mom most of them are. But if you see so much good in her, mary her if you want..But hey watch out maybe she's playing you for a green card haha but yeah maybe just date her for like a year, and if she's worth it go for it.

the best food to eat is steamed veggetables
you can steam all your fav veggs, and eat it with some white rice, you can buy a rice cooker and cook white rice, it's cheap like $20 for a basic one, and $100 for a kickazz one,
with rice maker, now you can make brown rice, wild rice, sticky rice, or make vegg sushi
i don't know point values, but i'm sure you can eat as much rice and vegetables and fruit as you want, dont' listen to people who tell you rice has carbs, it's not true, it's low in carbs and all of it its good carbs
for snack try some nuts and seeds, or make your own trail mix
Easy Chile Rellanos:
Ingredients:
2 large anaheim or poblano peppers (about .4 lbs total)
1/2 cup reduced-fat mexican cheese
1 Tb liquid egg whites
1 Tb cornmeal (optional)
1/4 cup enchilada sauce (1/4 of a 10-oz can)
Directions:
Note: Double or triple this recipe to make enough for your whole family!
Rinse the peppers. Preheat your oven to broil. Place the peppers on foil or in a flame-proof baking dish (not glass!) and place on the top shelf of your oven. Watch and listen closely. You will hear popping sounds and see the skins char and bubble up. When the majority of the skins are bubbled up, take the chiles out and flip them over. Be sure and use a potholder so you don't burn your hands! The more you broil them, the easier they are to peel, so don't be afraid to let them bubble too much! When both sides are fairly evenly charred, remove them from the oven. Wrap each pepper in a moist paper towel or place in a sealed plastic bag to steam.
Reduce oven to 400 degrees.
After a few minutes, check them. Once the skin comes off easily, peel each pepper as best as you can. Cut a slit almost the full length of each chile. Make a small ';T'; across the top, by the stem. Run under cold water and remove seeds and fibers. Stuff 1/8 cup cheese into each pepper.
Whisk egg whites in a small bowl. Dip peppers into the egg, then into the cornmeal, spooning over the top as well. Place peppers in baking dish sprayed with cooking spray and bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or til peppers are tender.
Heat enchilada sauce in microwave or small saucepan. Drizzle over the top of the peppers. Serve hot!
Serve with Mexican rice and refried beans if desired. (Adds more points)

Portabella Pizzas:
Ingredients:
1 large (3-oz) portabella (portobello) mushroom cap
1/4 cup pasta sauce *
1/4 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese
Garlic (fresh or powder), to taste
Dried basil, to taste
fat-free cooking spray (olive oil flavor is best)
* Points were calculated using Ragu Sundried Tomato and Sweet Basil sauce
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Wipe the cap clean of any dirt. Trim mushroom stem even with cap. (Or sometimes you can just pluck the stem right out!)
Place mushroom cap on foil and bake for 5-10 minutes before you proceed with the toppings. Remove from oven. If you find juice on the top of the mushroom cap after you take it out of the oven, just pat it dry with a paper towel.
(If you are using fresh garlic, you can either dice it very small or roast it til soft.)
Spray both sides of the mushroom cap with cooking oil. Place on a baking dish, gill side up. Cover generously with the garlic and sauce, and then top with the cheese and dried basil. Place in the oven and bake for 6-8 minutes, or until the cheese is well melted. Broil for the last minute or two if you want your cheese browned on top. Serve immediately. (Most people prefer to eat this pizza with a knife and fork)

Boca burgers are great to have on hand (frozen veggie burgers). They are higher in protein than most veggie burgers. You'll find that having a good amount of protein in each meal will prevent you from getting hungry too quickly.
Depending on the flavor of boca burger, they are 1-2 points.I like the boca breakfast sausage too. Again, very low in points.

What age was you when you settled down and had children any advice for me plz?
I am 19 and my partner is 20 we have been together nearly 2 %26amp; half years now we both have full time jobs and we are just preparing to move out and get our own place next year....
I do want a baby but not yet just need some advice really....
How old was you when you first settled down and had children! and are you glad you did it at that age? also have you got any advice for me ...
Thank you all xx
What age was you when you settled down and had children any advice for me plz?
i met my hubb at 26.
moved in at 32.
had r first babe at 32.
age dont matter its how you feel.
some people r made for each other b it 19 or 29.
What age was you when you settled down and had children any advice for me plz?
I was 25 when my daughter was born. Her father and I had been together since we were 18, and had married 18 months before she was born. Our son followed 3 1/2 years later.
We took a lot of stick for starting our family so soon, but felt that it was the right thing to do as we had the energy to put into a family AND by the time the kids had grown up and started wanting to do their own thing we would still be young enough to enjoy our lives together too.
I think the important thing is to start when you are both happy to do so - regardless of what other people may think or say it's your life! Also, you hear a lot of people saying ';we'll start a family when we can afford it'; - you can't budget for children!
I wish you both the very best of luck xx
I met my bf in january, we were living togethr by march and i fell pregnant in june, I was 16 (17 when i had him) at the time which here in Australia is the consenting age.
We stayed together, got a better house and car and had our 2nd child a month before i turned 19, then we got engaged and had our 3rd baby 5 months ago..I just turned 22 and we will have been together for 6 years in january =D I know i was young but i don't regret it one bit, I now have 3 beautiful little munchkins that i 鈾?to death!
I started dating my current spouse when I was 18, but didn't get married until I was 25 and didn't have kids until we were both 29. I'm very glad we timed it the way we did. Because we did it that way, we had time to finish school (and grad school), get good work experience, do some traveling, and save enough money so that we could buy a house and afford our kids. After having been together more than a decade, we were also sure we were a stable couple and really ready to raise kids together. And it certainly worked out for us. We now have four kids, a great house, and have been married almost 14 years.
Well, I鈥檓 26 now and my fiance and I have been ttc for the last 8 months. Wer have been together 5 years though, lived together for 3 and a half of those and we got our 1st mortgage a year ago. I think you moving in with your bf is great but seriously, give it 2 years of living together before you start thinking about kids. I was with my ex for nearly 3 years (we split when I was 21) and i'm just thankful we never had any kids. You find a lot more out about a person when you live with them.
I had my babes at 18, knew my partner for almost 6 years and it didnt work, it happens, anyhoo.
I would suggest what things are important to you?
Marriage, a home of your own, good jobs for the both of you, a car for both of you, be able to afford a child?
All these things i mentioned above is a pretty good start up point, if you can reach all these goals then go for it.
Just know that having a child is a luxury!
I settled down and started having my children young. I have four wonderful little rascals now. I would not trade them for anything in the world. But my advice to you is wait a couple years at least you guys are just getting you own place together just enjoy each other for a while. Your only 19 and 20 enjoy going out traveling and spending time with just each other till your at least twenty five.
met my now wife when i was 17,moved in together 19,married 22,1st child at 24, 2nd child at 31!
there's pros and cons for both arguments and it really depends on the individual.some would say u miss out on fun when you're young, but at 24 i'd sure had my fair share of fun,and now thinking that when my youngest hits her teens and they start getting more independant, doing more with they're friends than parents i'll only be early forties,so wife and i will start getting more and more us time from then on till they eventually leave home then the worlds our oyster for many more years to come.hope u make the decision that's correct for you!!
I started dating my hubby when I was 18, he was 19. We got married when I was 26 and had our first baby when I was 28. I'm glad we waited because we had so much time for just us. Then when we found out we were pregnant it wasn't a huge shock for us. We had had time to experience things together...now we have an almost 8 month old daughter and are experiencing so many more things as a family!
Everyone is different when they want kids or are stable enough to have them. I had my daughter at 22 my partner was 23 we have been together for nearly 7 years. She was not planned but i wouldn't change my life for anything in the world. One thing i find hard is we don't have our own house (which i wish we did but in time we will save and buy our own) and money is a big thing.. that babies always needs stuff!
I was engaged at 21. Thank god it didn't happen - I'd have been divorced within months. You'll change beyond all recognition in your 20s and my advice is not to rush it. I eventually married (someone else) at 29 and had my children when I was 31 and 32. We've now been married 12 years and I've not one single regret.
hey honey, i honestly would wait. think about it. you are a child for such a short time, then you get your young years (20's) after that it is adult hood. 30,40,50,60 + you are an adult seems like way longer than a young woman, so i would suck up all the youngness, energy while you have it. i am not saying you are not an adult you just have so much time being older. i married at 27. i am glad i waited. enjoy life, travel if you can save lots of money and get married, take a college course, what ever you want. then when its time start having kids. anyway that is my advise to you. i am 40 now and have 4 children we are adopting and i have had them for 3 years. i think 40 may be a bit old for starting to have kids. but i am doing it. :)
i plan on waiting till im around 30. im 23 now and many of me friends have had kids in the past few years. all they do now is complain about how they cant do anything fun and how they never have enough money. im waiting till ive been married for a handful of years, have established my career, and have a few thousand dollars in savings.
I had a child at 16 but thiis wasn't planned.
At 20 I settled down, got engaged and we're expecting our first child together in 2 weeks.
I think all I can say is only you know when it feels right and when you want to have kids. When it's right good luck, you will love them!
I got married at 18 many moons ago, and had my first child when I was 23. Looking back now 18 was too young, and if I had my time again, I would travel, and do all the things that you can't do when you have a family.
When you have kids you are allways spending out for them.
I moved in with my then 23 yr old partner at 17, and fell pregnant, had the baby at 18, we were both working full time. Had my second child at 19, and chucked him out 3 months later.
Now I'm with my baby's daddy and Im 20 on Sunday. It was far, far, faaaar too early.
I married at 16(did not have to) and I had 5 children by the time I was 21.I love all my children but I was too young to get married. You loose out on a lot of things and can't do it over.Be financially and mentally ready.Children cost more money now than then.I wish you both luck.
I was 17 when I met my now Husband. Moved in with him at 19 (250 miles away from home, now live in Edinburgh) Had my beautiful little girl almost 2 years ago. Got married 15 Weeks ago, and I'm now 24. I wouldnt change anything for the world.
I got with my partner when i was 19 we lived together three years before deciding on a family, i would say live with each other for a while first they always say you never really know someone until you have lived with them ..and its very true x
I got married and had my first at 19...He wasn't planned, but I couldn't have loved being pregnant or love him anymore if I planned it for 1000 years!!! Looking back, I was young, I'm divorced now, but I wouldn't change it for anything!!
i met my hubby when we wer 17 and we had our first child at 19 (quick i know) but we have been together for nearly 11 years now and have 4 children and still happy.
just wait untill you are both ready!
We met at 18, got married at 20 had our first at 22, second at 25 and third is due in January (I'll be 26)
Couldn't be happier with my hubby and girls :)
I met my husband when I was 23, we moved in together when I was 24, got married when I was 25 and now expecting our first child, due in June 2009 when I will be 26! Phew, a busy few years!
As for the advice - when I was 19 I had been with my ex for 2 and a half years like you and we were planning to move in together. In the end we were together for 6 and a half years but we never did move in and it all fell apart. At the time I was devastated but looking back I am so glad because now that I ma older I can see that I was far too young to be that commited and settled. I used to hate being told by other people we were too young for our big plans because I felt so grown up! It's only now that I can look back and say, ';yep, they were all right!'; So think very carefully. You may love your boyfriend very much and be financially ready for the commitment of a home together. But 19 is still young, despite how much you may dislike hearing it... with age comes wisdom!nail polish dermatologist acne

But 19 is still young, despite how much you may dislike hearing it... with age comes wisdom!

a desert willow will do the trick very pretty purple flowers in the summer and spring. defoliates in winter some water is necessary just for the first few months. stay away from globe willows.I live in the high desert and am looking for some advice on which type of tree to plant in my backyard.?
In the deserts, Palo Verde is a great tree. It stays green and then grows yellow flowers in Spring. It's also uses very little water.
pine, spruce or cedar trees all come to mind when you want something that will stay green. cedar grow in some unusual shapes, so if you want something that will be straight it is not a good choice.
Mondale Pines, Chinese Elm, apple trees, mulberry, mesquite, Arborvitae or just about any evergreen (Check with your local Univ. cooperative extention of Master Gardeners for your particular area). Be sure to get planting instructions, it is very important you prepare the soil.
Stay away from ';willows';, or non native trees. Palm trees are not good if you have a freeze.

Im about to get married any advice cause im happy and even though its going to be a long time from now i would
to know now b4 the rush of everything and i become stress about itIm about to get married any advice cause im happy and even though its going to be a long time from now i would
Don't stress. A wedding is just another day in your life, and honestly, you won't remember much from that day, so don't worry about it! My wedding was wonderful, but not perfect, and you know what? I didn't care! If you have a poor attitude and believe that your wedding day is supposed to be perfect, then you will ruin it for yourself. Don't forget to laugh a lot, that really helps.
As for the actual marriage part... don't think that your relationship will be vastly different after you get married. It won't be better, and sometimes can get a little worse, simply because of the stress after the wedding. Talk with your soon-to-be spouse, and realize that you are still the same people with or without the rings. That is really important.
Most of all, don't stress yourself out! Just think about how many people get married everyday, and make it though okay!Im about to get married any advice cause im happy and even though its going to be a long time from now i would
My only advice is not to get married until you have been engaged for a minimum of three years.

A question for people that were young mothers and will actually give me some advice and not be a jerk!?
did you stay with the man that got you pregnant even if he is a pill because he is the father of your child?A question for people that were young mothers and will actually give me some advice and not be a jerk!?
DONT stay with him and make yourself miserable for your child! everything will work out and you will find someone that treats you right and loves your child just as much as the biological father does. and he can still be in your childs life but he doesnt have to be in yours to ruin it!
get out while you can! it will all work outA question for people that were young mothers and will actually give me some advice and not be a jerk!?
he sounds like a dickk.
dont stay w. him because he will harm you and your baby.
i am waiting to see if i am pregnant and i am young in my early teens, and if i am i will not stay with the guy who got me pregnant because he is an asss and will only hurt me more.
As the grown child of young parents I don't think you should stay with the guy if your not happy or if he doesn't treat you right. It sets a bad example for your child and they may feel guilty later on in life that you gave your own happiness for them.
You stay with a man because you love him, not because of a child. Either way, you two are connected for life because of the baby. You don't have to be in a relationship to make a baby, and you don't need to be in one to raise one. You need to not think about yourself anymore and think about what's best for your unborn child.
hi em if the father is an idiot then no because he will end up hurting you and treating you and the baby unfairly. my hubby did not want the baby when i fell preg at 19 but later decided he did and he stuck by me.
don't stay with him just because you are pregnant. if he wants to see the baby, let him. if he doesn't, make sure you get his money and you will be fine raising the baby. if he isn't treating you right he wont treat the baby right and that could do alot of damage to the baby.( you don't think it will when they are still little but thats when they form trust). good luck. follow your heart!
Nope, because he was an ****. Your guy sounds like one 2, you are better off by yourself that with a jerk, so will your baby be x
It's just my opinion, but you should never stay in a relationship just for the child. If this man is not doing right by you, you can't expect him to do right by your child. If he is immature in his relationship with you, he will be immature as a father to his child. And also, you wouldn't want your child to grow up in a loveless home, or thinking that one-sided love is what love is.
Once again, just my opinion.
I know exactly where you are coming from. I'm 19 and pregnant from my ex. I actually broke up with him after I found out I was pregnant because I realized then how unhealthy out relationship was. My baby will also be my ex's 2nd kid, he has full custody of his other. When I told him I was pregnant him and his whole family accused me of trying to trap him and they are just totally unsupportive. But I realized that I now have someone else to think about and couldn't deal with the stress of trying to make things work in a dead end relationship. That baby is now the most important thing in your life and you have to do what is best for you and your unborn child. Leaving my ex was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life and is still a daily challenge becuase he still trys to get me back but I know its not sincere. Just think aobut it and do what you think is best. Good Luck!!
[[and you deserve better then him, I know I don't know you or him, but i have read oyur questions and his and you don't deserve that. He sounds like an a*s]]
I don't understand what you mean when you say he is a ';pill';, but if he is an idiot, I would leave him. Fortunately, the father of my baby and I are getting married and he helps 100%. If the father of your baby is scum, don't stay with him.
well i don't know what young has to do with it but i'm 21 and 5 months preggy with my third baby.
I was 18 when we (me and my husband) planned to have a baby.
If the man who got you pregnant will be a strong/positive person and influence to your child then that is a no brainer, right?
If he is irresponsible, mean, and not helpful why would he be beneficial to you or the child?
Don't stay just because he is the father, ultimately that can cause more harm then good if he is no good.
My first husband was my high school sweetheart and we got pregnant right after I graduated. I married him only for it to end in divorce. I married him because growing up we are taught to date, get married, then have children. I felt because I had been irresponsible I needed to marry him to prove I was ';Grown Up';. I had to learn someone that has issues isn't going to be fixed because you marry them or have a baby. I would have been so much better off putting myself through college and raising the baby by myself from the beginning. 14 years later and I am doing it anyway. If you believe in prayer, pray. But never stay with a man just because his sperm got you pregnant. There are a lot of worthy men out there that would treat you and your child as there own.
I did. Thank goodness he grew out of it! He was a big jurk. Now he is a man I am proud to call my Husband! I love him more today than the day I got that pos. pregnancy test. People ask, if I would do it all over again. ';YES I WOULD';
Don't stay with him. If he has a chance to hurt you, or puts stress on you don't stay with him. Putting stress on you wont help your child, I should know. I'm going through it. If he is a jerk and is putting you through crap it isn't worth it, the child doesn't need a father like that always around.

My cat hates to be handled any advice????
When i pick her up she gets all mad and stuff!!HELP!!My cat hates to be handled any advice????
don't pick her up... let her come to you all lovey doveyMy cat hates to be handled any advice????
You should probably just accept that this is your cat's personality. We have a cat like that. She hates to be picked up. However, she will occasionally come sit with a person and want to be patted. But it has to be the cat's decision, not the person's. That is just the way this cat is. We like her as a quirky cat, and accept that she's not especially cuddly. She is social and likes to sit in the room with people and be talked to - just hates being picked up.
Our cat who hates to be picked up is easily stressed out. There is a plug-in thing you can buy at Petsmart that seems to calm her down. It was recommended by the vet. It helps.
well, as a cat lover, i know that all cat's personalities are different, and some cats just dont like to be handled- there is a possibilty that you can train it away, but sometimes cats are just like that- thats what makes them cats is that they are so unique in personality and character
I just adopted a cat who doesn't like to be picked up and held much. I would start by leaving her alone at first, and then start by sitting by her on the floor and petting her. do this for a few days, then try to have her sit on or over your foot or leg...and pet her for a while. continue with this gradually getting her in your lap while sitting on the floor, and gradually work with her until she feels comfortable with you picking her up.
Kathy
try to leave it alone for a while.
Well probably because she does'nt like the way your holding her. Or It's... Wait is she fat? couse if she is she might be to stuffed to be held or shes pregnant! but if shes not then shes probabley not much of a people person.
If she hates to be handled she might might not be found of you maybe if you find a way to form a closser bond she will like to be handled (by you).
if she/he is new let her/him get used to u and let her come to u. if not she/he might be feeling discomfort and u might want to take her to the vet. some cats r just that way too. if your cat is then just let her/him be.
Some cats don't like to be held or to sit on laps. My current cat hated to be held until my other cat died.
I say don't try to force your will on her or try a cat whisperer if it is important to you.
Give the cat some space. After a while (this may be several days), work on building a relationship with the cat. What happened right before you tried to handle her? That may also contribute to why the cat is mad and stuff. It is something that will take time and you may find that this cat is just not the social creature you want. Remember, cats have personalities, too.
Depending how old your cat is, she could be very old and have arthritis all over- or she should have some kind of cancer that hurts when you pick her up.
Otherwise it sounds like she could have gone ferrel- that is, the cats gone emotionally wild in which case have her put down.
Take her to the vet before you do anything drastic ok? Good Luck
mine is the same way except when she wants held. then she lets me know. mine also hides when anyone but me and my wife are around. let her be. they are finicky animals.
you have a cat who doesn't like to be handled. leave her alone and when she wants attention, then give it to her. :-)
If she's a new cat, she may need time to get used to her surroundings...
If she's not new and you've had her for awhile, she may just not like you. Or not like being touched. Some animals are like that.
You gotta be patient. Do not pick her up, try to intice her to come to you. Try using treats or a toy. Once she is comfortable with you, she will start to come to you more easily.
Do not tell my wife but are cats like me more, I sneak them some turkey off my sandwich, only feed them at there bowel. When i am feed them i play with them, then they will love you back on there terms.
In no time at all you have a purrrfect cat.
if this is a new behavior meaning that she used to let you pick her up there maybe something bothering her....i would have it checked out if it continues and if this is how she always is well she just wants to be left alone...you can however coax her onto the couch when you are watching tv and get her to sit by you and maybe she will inch herself into your lap
All these cat lovers can't be wrong!
If you're not convinced ask your vet and always listen to your cat.
Most cats don't like to be picked up or held. The only way to get to hold a cat is to rub its tummy in a fast circular motion while chanting ';chummy wum'; over and over again. Then just swoop him up by the tail and then cradle him. Your cat will let you hold him and he won't be mad.
just wait until she wants to be held
Hi I have 3 cats, none like to held longer than a minute...lol. I think it makes them feel trapped...like they can't get away if they need to. I think it's pure instincts that cause this. Nothing you are doing. I learned that it's better to let them come to you. Play with toys, like shoe strings or milk rings, are my cats' favs...and then pet them while they are playing. After a while of this they will come to you for attention. Also, I limit feed mine, as in they are fed 3 times a day, I don't leave food out for them all the time. So when they want to be fed, they will rub on you and want you to pet them so they can have their food...lol. I have to feed them this way because one of my cats will not stop eating and he started gaining weight, but the benefits are they know you are the provider and will come to you for attention. So if you want more attention from your cat, make sure you are the one to feed her, and give her water, she will then see you as her mother figure. None of my cats are lap babies either, I had one who was, he loved being held and curling up in your lap, but most cats are not like that, it just depends on their personality, so don't take it personally, I'm sure she loves you!
Also, if she is a new cat to your home, keep her in your room for a couple of weeks, put the food, cat litter, water, in your room, do not make her do anything else, don't pick her up or make her do anything, just play with her and pet her...she will come to you and see your room as a safe place to be. Then when you let her out in the rest of the house, she will go to your room to sleep or relax, as she will know that room better. I did this with all my cats when I first brought them home, until they got used to being there. I kept them in my son's room...they still hang out there when they want to sleep or if they get get scared they run under his bed, it's their safe room.
You're just going to have to stop insisting your cat do things on your terms. Cats don't work that way. If they want to be petted, cuddled, or carried around they won't hesitate to let you know. You have to let a cat come to you.
Gotta face reality - - - certain cats do not like to be handled. The best that you can do is to make it her choice. One method is the surrender gesture - - - stretch out flat on floor as if maybe dead and wait patiently until Kitty stands on chest to determine if indeed you are alive. Once a cat is a non-touchy cat there is not a whole lot you can do. When I have to carry my PUMA cat, I hold him firmly while whispering apologies into his ear. Despite nearly eight years together he does not like anyone picking him up even when being confronted by rabid dogs!
Peace...
Not all cats like being picked up. Or maybe it's how you're handing her?
If it's sudden, take her to the vet and see if she's got anything in her system that might be causing her discomfort, like worms or ulcers, etc.
Baby fusses like a wild thing when I pick him up too. I've got where I sneak up on him and pet him till he's awake, then leave...he's getting more friendly, as he remembers that he liked the lovey when he was a little one. Give her time, and pet her where she sits. We have one that we just let sit beside us, then pet. She purrs a lot when we do that, so I guess she's happy!
leave her alone then... that's just how she is... you dont want her to be mad all the time do you?
just don't pick her up lol mine doesn't like for me to pick her up either....there isn't anything you can do. that is just the way some cats are
my cat was like that at first then i gave her some time (about a week ) and then she was fine try a week without holding her
hope this helps
don't pick her up... let her come to you all lovey doveyMy cat hates to be handled any advice????
I am a 270lb. 5ft 10in tall male and I want a good workout schedule to lose weight and my gut. Any Advice?
I have access to my cities recreation center but I am not a very good swimmer. I have already reduced my calorie intake but just need to get on a good physical routine . I walk for about an hour a night before bed also.I am a 270lb. 5ft 10in tall male and I want a good workout schedule to lose weight and my gut. Any Advice?
It's all about the diet.
Reduce your calories and make sure you have the essential fats, protein, and carbohydrates.
Does your rec. center have treadmills?
And some people believe that crunches and abdominal exercises can help lose fat in their gut. This statement is wrong, abdominal exercises build muscle in the abs, obviously and they do not lose fat. So make sure your keeping a good low-cal diet and exercising at least 4 times a week. Good luck!I am a 270lb. 5ft 10in tall male and I want a good workout schedule to lose weight and my gut. I am currently getting a degree in CSI. Is it true that I have to work as a police officer 1st? Any advice?
My degree will be a bacehlors in crime scene investigations, minor in forensic psychology. I do plan on going to get a masters immediately after. But from what I'm reading, before I can even work in investigations (even for the government), I need to work as an officer first, get 1 to 2 years of experience of my belt, and THEN apply for the job. Any advice that anyone can share would be greatly appreciated.I am currently getting a degree in CSI. Is it true that I have to work as a police officer 1st? Any advice?
You don't have to be a police officer to take part in crime scene investigations. However, many police department's crime scene investigators are police officers. There are various support positions related to evidence collection and processing that are performed by people that are not police officers. You should definitely obtain an advanced degree if possible. Learn as much as you can, and earn the highest GPA that you can.
If you want to be a police detective, you must first become a police officer. However, you can become a federal criminal investigator without being a police officer. You often need at least a four year degree. You can qualify for many federal criminal investigator jobs with an advanced degree. It helps if you have served in the military. Check out the link below.

Absolutely not true, but it is a great benefit. The problem is that if you are competing against somebody who does have experience as a sworn officer and the right education credentials, you will end up losing to them.
You can always apply for a technician job, then work your way up the ladder. Most mid-sized departments seem to have turnover in the technician ranks, usually because of long hours and low pay.
Hope this helps!

Males...if you could give any advice to a female, what would it be?
I'm a female, but the best advice I ever got from a guy was that I should invest in real estate. He was a very smart man.Males...if you could give any advice to a female, what would it be?
Don't be Too Demanding....!!Males...if you could give any advice to a female, what would it be?
Don't mention the state of the bedroom ceiling.
dont talk too much on the phone....

never ask ';do i look fat in this outfit?';
if you think so you probably are
no man will answer this honestly unless he wants out
Remember the proper tongue techniques when you're performing.
Don't fake an orgasm
enjoy intercourse as much as possible while you are single
Always swallow what you put in your mouth.
Cheat on players not the Good Guys.........lol
Don't try to control us. Y'know; don't feel that you need to know where we are, what we're doing, and who we're with every minute of every day.
Incredibly annoying and usually will kill any relationship in the long run.
Our buddies crack on us for it, we begin to resent it, and it eats away at us.
If you can trust us enough to be with us, then you can trust us enough to go through our day without your guidance.
be gentle with me
Don't be sooooo demanding.

If you had to give Fletcher advice on saving the Leafs, what would it be?

Sage advice. Can think of little to add.

Don't...but if you must, rid the '; Curse of the seven Outhouses ';.
Are you asking us or are you just showing the article?
Either way, I like the article, Fletcher should read it.
The advice I'd give Fletcher on saving the Maple Leafs, is....
learn HOW to spend your money instead of wasting it.
Buy players that give results. Ask Scotty Bowman to consult for your team. Don't waste money on useless, talentless goaltenders. Procure some centermen who can skate and handle the puck around Datsyuk or Crosby. Need I say more? I should, but methinks this was enough.
Fletcher should look at rebuilding as a long-term project and trade for draft picks 2 and 3 years down the road. Teams can collapse in that period and net you some high draft picks. Sam Pollock was a master at that sort of thing back in the late 60s.
I like the parading the Calder Cup idea. SC phsaw overated!
*I love that movie. ';And when she's really excited she makes noises like a chipmunk.'; Groundhog Day
Watch them win a few from here to the deadline and become buyers, only to finish 9th. Bizzarro world. Groundhog Day all over again.

to get a new head coach, to get rid of a few players, and get good players on defense. check out the goalies that will be on the market and don't get players who did not do much to help their team the year before i.e. Jason Blake. and make sure u keep Sundin, because he's the only thing that keeps this team going.
not a fan of the Leafs, but there's nothing sadder than seeing a team making its way down the way they have, and they're not the only ones!!!

Is there Criminal Legal Advice Free on the Internet?
My daughter van was stolen 2 years ago. The Feds said this big drug dealer in Las Vegas stole her van. The Feds want my daughter to testify against him even thro she didn;t see him steal her van. He told the Feds he got the van thru a friend. They want her to testify that she didn't give him permission to use her van. She is scared because when he stole the van he had her keys he knows where she lives and she is scared for family. Does she have to testify? Is there Criminal Legal Advice Free on the Internet?
To answer your first question, checkout www.lawyers.com. They have a Q%26amp;A section which is very helpful. Word your questions precise and carefully, you will get some responses.
best of luck! Is there Criminal Legal Advice Free on the Internet?
Another place to look at is Lawyeryourself.net. They have a forum and a DVD that can help
If she was properly served with a subpoena to appear in court, she must appear or risk having a warrant for her arrest issued.
Why did this drug dealer have her keys??? If she is afraid she may be incriminating herself in the drug deal somehow, she is entitled to cousel, free of charge to represent her...if she legitimately has a Fifth Amendment Right issue.
Being scared is NOT enough to prevent her testimony. Further, she should tell the Feds so a protective order or other measures can be made to protect her.
Assuming your daughter was never associated with the drug dealer, or that she never participated in any illegal activities with him, she is really only left with two options: testify, or ask the court to accomodate her concerns about testifying.
Accomodations the court can make are limited somewhat by the Constitution, which guarantees accused parties the right to confront the witnesses against them. However, courts often allow videotaped testimony, or testimony from depositions, as long as the accused counsel is allowed to cross-examine the witness.
If she did participate with him in illegal activities, she has a third option: she can refuse to testify on the grounds that she might incriminate herself. However, the prosecutor may still try to compel her testimony by granting her immunity from prosecution.
I would imagine that if she did not witness the theft of the van, the scope of her testimony will be limited to answering questions like ';was this your van?'; and ';where did you last leave your van parked?'; Those types of questions and answers aren't usually the types of things that invoke the retribution of criminals, so she should probably just cooperate.
However, if there is a unusual reason for concern, she just needs to bring it up with the prosecutor and the judge. The judge knows that testifying against people can be a difficult and sometimes dangerous thing to do, and he might tell the prosecutor to find a different way to make the case if the judge feels your daughter is in danger.
It wouldn't hurt to hire a lawyer, if that is an economically viable option. Convincing the judge that her testimony is irrelevant or would put her in jeopardy is something that would be done by filing and arguing a motion and, although she could try to file and argue her own motion, a lawyer would be a tremendous help in that regard.

Is there any goalie advice for a new blocker?
I am a high school travel player who is currently using an Itech 4.8 X-factor blocker. It has been torn up and gotten too small, and I am looking for a new blocker. I WOULD LIKE TO STICK TO ITECH- i like their products. i am currentlly looking at the 7.8 X-wing and the 4.8 X-wing. any recommendations? Is there any goalie advice for a new blocker?
Don't skimp on the leather quality where your fingers are protected. Your hands are always down near the ice where 10 razor blades are whirling around.
Generally there are 3 grades of goalie equipment:
1. Entry Level
2. Semi-Pro (intermediate)
3. Pro
The first two levels are usually made off-shore (machine made in China) and never last half as long as Pro quality (which are hand made in Canada). If possible, go to a store that focuses mostly on hockey and you'll receive better advice and selection. Is there any goalie advice for a new blocker?
The higher number is probably the better product.
Make sure it fits, yadda yadda yadda.
make sure u get something that u can get to know. like, if u can make a high stick side save without turning ur head. also make sure that the glove part fits PERFECT, if it gets distracting u will let in sum bad goals. Another thing to consider is how well u can handle ur stick with ur blocker on. thats really important. Just ask marty turco

Well we have a 10 month old now and the baby I'm pregnant with is due at the end of February so they'll be only 12 months apart. To prepare we've bought another car seat and a portable crib because our son now has a 4-in-1 crib so that's going to be his bed for a while. The other baby will be a boy too so we've bought a little more newborn clothes but for the most part he can have the clothes our 1st son had. I'm going to breastfeed and we bought a breast pump and we've started to buy lots of diapers; some newborn and mostly size 1. All the toys and swing, playpen, bouncy seat, etc we already have. And last we're trying to plan how we're going to manage both kids lol...It's gonna be tough but you can do it. Good luck and congrats.nail polish dermatologist acne

5ft 10in tall male and I want a good workout schedule to lose weight and my gut. um you need to start with the eating. you can go to the gym 24/7 but if you dont change your eating habits, then you will Never lose weight. then you do excersice to trim and cut your body. but the number one thing is how you eat.

I'm just here taking notes........Males...if you could give any advice to a female, what would it be?
Don't try to control us. Y'know; don't feel that you need to know where we are, what we're doing, and who we're with every minute of every day.
Incredibly annoying and usually will kill any relationship in the long run.
Our buddies crack on us for it, we begin to resent it, and it eats away at us.
If you can trust us enough to be with us, then you can trust us enough to go through our day without your guidance.Males...if you could give any advice to a female, what would it be?
Don't be sooooo demanding.
Remember the proper tongue techniques when you're performing.
Don't be Too Demanding....!!
Don't fake an orgasm
Always swallow what you put in your mouth.
Cheat on players not the Good Guys.........lol
Don't mention the state of the bedroom ceiling.
enjoy intercourse as much as possible while you are single
never ask ';do i look fat in this outfit?';
if you think so you probably are
no man will answer this honestly unless he wants out
dont talk too much on the phone....
ps:that was my brother said
I'm a female, but the best advice I ever got from a guy was that I should invest in real estate. He was a very smart man.
be gentle with me

I thought we had a bad team in Montreal... I think I was wrong... But poor Leafs Fans!!! I'm with you 100%... Good Luck!

';(2) Stop offering long-term contracts to players the year after they've had a ';career year.'; Look up dictionary definition of what a ';career'; year actually means.';
love this part

4, 7 %26amp; 8 are also very funny
Ryan- If you had another brain, it would be VERY lonely. trust me!!
to get a new head coach, to get rid of a few players, and get good players on defense. check out the goalies that will be on the market and don't get players who did not do much to help their team the year before i.e.

Just ask marty turco

due March 24th, having another girl, my first daughter is 14 months. im trying to get myself fully prepared. if there was something you wish you prepared for b4 hand what would that be?Will be mother to 2 soon, advice please?
Good luck and congrats.

What is the best advice you would give to someone you care about?
None at all, if you relly care.
Hold your tongue and wait. What is the best advice you would give to someone you care about?
For me, it depends on the situation and how well I know the person. What is the best advice you would give to someone you care about?
I would ask them what is the most important thing in life.
Because then they can pursue that alone.
In the end what really matters?
depens in what situation he/she is leading towards .
do what you want to do, but ask me how to do!
There is no such thing as freedom, only different forms of slavery.

I am absolutely petrified of flying. Can anyone give me any advice of something i can take to calm me down?
it doesn't matter how much people say you'll be fine and feed with with statistics of how unlikely a plane will crash it makes no difference what so ever. I am terrified. Last year was first time flying so thought nothing off it but once i was on the plane i totally freaked out. I go all hot and hyper ventilate. Please any advice would be great. Does Rescue Remedy work?I am absolutely petrified of flying. Can anyone give me any advice of something i can take to calm me down?
well in your case all i can say is go to a doctor and get him to prescribe you xanax or some kind of strong sleeping medication.I am absolutely petrified of flying. Can anyone give me any advice of something i can take to calm me down?
I can't recommend this website enough:

It's what helped me overcome my terror of flying. I still get a little nervous before flights, but I can now fly comfortably and enjoy myself. Not only will it teach you what all the noises and sensations are on a plane, and how the design of a plane makes flying so safe, but it also discusses flying anxiety and gives you the tools to overcome it. It also gives you ways to calm down if you 'freak out' or have a panic attack.
take some sleeping pills when ur on u will forget about it later
it is really all mind over matter.
i used to have to take sedatives to step into a plane.
now, i still take a xanax or 2, but remember, it is sooo much a MENTAL thing,
i just figure if it is my time to go, then it is time %26amp;
if everything goes well, then i will have a fabulous story %26amp; vacation memories for the rest of my life %26amp; if not ??
well, my family can take a nice long vacation with the $ from the airlines will give them
also having an ipod, headphones blocks out alot of the normal '; flying '; sounds that might freak you out, but are normalface make up remover dermatologist acne
well in your case all i can say is go to a doctor and get him to prescribe you xanax or some kind of strong sleeping medication.I am absolutely petrified of flying. Can anyone give me any advice of something i can take to calm me down?

Should you really be taking religious advice from somebody named Winston Church-ill?
The yam star made me add the 'religious' part.Should you really be taking religious advice from somebody named Winston Church-ill?
I avoid taking advice from anyone with a bad pun as a name.Should you really be taking religious advice from somebody named Winston Church-ill?
Personally Ben, if it's wisdom - it's wisdom.
If it's religious, it's religious.
Some of the best advice may be mingled with both.
U BE ILLN
CHURCH IS CHILLN
AND YAM STAR HEDEE HAR HAR!
stop eating yams. your head seems to be made of it.
he,s dead, get over it.and i WOULD, if he was still alive.
I don't, he's dead.

I am thinking of making a career change in law enforcement any advice?
Or other advice would help as well.I am thinking of making a career change in law enforcement any advice?
Hi! I can't help but wanted to say good luck!!!
My husband is seriously considering being a police officer when and if he loses his job in April (he most likely will). I am still kinda shocked by it b/c he went to do this once before but backed out. While looking for a job after getting out of the Army, he went and took the test, had the 2nd highest score, was about to leave to the police Academy and then BOOM... ';I don't want a dangerous job anymore';. I think he was still struggling w/ coming back from a war zone. I am curious to see if he will follow through this time. Anyway, rambling as always.... GOOD LUCK!!!I am thinking of making a career change in law enforcement any advice?
I would just be open with your family. You will need your family standing behind you through the entire process (hiring, training, etc). I have never been more proud of my husband, but was hard to adjust to %26amp; is still hard to adjust to having him gone all night. I would just explain it to your wife, significant other, parents, %26amp; ask for their advice and help in telling your child. Good luck!
Just come out and tell them.

My board examination is getting nearer. Can you give me some advice on memory enhancer, regimen and exercises?
I will be having my examination by June of this year. I can't help to remember important notes and memorize all the stuff. I have a plenty of textbooks here but it's just getting wasted. Time sucks! My board examination is getting nearer. Can you give me some advice on memory enhancer, regimen and exercises?
i've been through that also when i took my licensure exam last july. When it comes to memorizing, you don't have to memorize it word for word, just understand the rationale behind a certain concept or topic. Second, someone told me that ';you should review things like you are a thief';, meaning just take what you think is precious or valuable because you can't put all in your head.
Another advice is not to pressure yourself too much because you'll end up remembering nothing. try to relax. You may have some healthy snacks on the side while you are reviewing, but not too much. When you feel like you're already saturated then stop. Do other things first that would somehow relax you.
And my last advice is to pray a lot. It really works, just do your best and He will do the rest!
I hope it will help you!

I want to buy a motorcycle, I am a beginner and I need it for long distances (interstate/hwy). Any advice?
I am only 5'6, so I need something that I can hold up and control.I want to buy a motorcycle, I am a beginner and I need it for long distances (interstate/hwy). Any advice?
Oh gee i wanta say Goldwing so bad but you are new to the sport and they are heavy. So go with a Yamaha 650 Star and you will be happy until you ride say 3 years for the experience of it. Then invest in a Goldwing
but keep the 650 as a around town bike they are very good bikes.I want to buy a motorcycle, I am a beginner and I need it for long distances (interstate/hwy). Any advice?
agree with above...i would say try out a boulavard you can get those decent priced and very comfortable, i have a buddy who had got one and you can almost fall asleep on it.
I couldn't agree with J M more. That was exactly what I had in mind.
Kawasaki 500cc Vulcan, Honda 600cc Shadow will both do the job.
buy a kawaski motorcycle, or if you have big money then buy a BMW motorcycycle
