Any Advice would be great...my beagle it OUT OF CONTROL!?

I have a four year old beagle and she has to be the MOST stubborn animal on this planet. I still till this day can NOT leave her alone. She has to be within 10 feet of me. If i have to run upstairs, I have to carry her with me because she will immediaetly pee, poop, jump on a table (Dining or coffee) jump on the sofa, try her hardest to open the fridge or try to jump on the counters (They are too high up, but she has pulled stuff off of them). I discipline her and she doesnt care. She spends her days searching the house for crumbs. She also is always standing and whining at the door. Regardless that I walk her x2 a day. (LONG 15-30 mins walks) and then I take her out to pee and she will come back in and still beg for a treat 4 years later. 1/2 the time I take her out she will not sue the bathroom and then come back in the house and stand at the door to go out? She is smart and charming, but a real pain. PLease help! I dont want to discourage her from wanting to go outside.Any Advice would be great...my beagle it OUT OF CONTROL!?
I found an article called Dogs Behaving Badly and it's about a Beagle. There are a lot of good articles and expert tips on DogChannel.

i have a beagle and they are very energitic and stubborn if not trained right, Get her enrolled in an obiedence class and crate train her during the day.

good luck.
she has you wrapped around her little paw. I would just die laughing watching this stuff.
My cat is doing that now i just got her, but she attacks me i have many scars now.

What advice would be good?

I am torn in the middle of a relationship between a guy best friend and a girl friend. I know this guy since college and me and my husband have been best friends with him and we know that he's kind of a 'player' and he broke up with this girl who has been a friend since college... she explained to me the whole scenario and like always my best friend acted like an a** (accdg. to the girl), i don't know maybe he's just not ready for anything serious but the way they broke up is like she was thrown to the side and ignored without even a word... anyway, she's asking for advice... she love's him so much that i think if he'd come back to her she'd take him and i think she'll even wait for him... i mean what should i tell her? wait for him when i can never be sure he'd mature right away? cause somehow i don't want her to move on because in my gut i know she'd be the perfect girl for him???? what should i tell her???What advice would be good?
tell your friend that If she's sure of what she feels then fight for what her heart longs but be sure to left something for herself so if ever the guy leave her again then she'll be able to recover again. What advice would be good?
1. no offense to you friend (girl) she could be one of those girls that don't stop talking. Which annoys the guy so he ignores her.

2. They guy could be an a hole and doesn't want any emotional relation ship and just wants to bang.

3. Don't play match make (im not saying you are) but that is never good.
well, guys mature slower then women and even if she waits for him he may never change his ways. she should just move on, It's not worth it! Life to short. Love is a hard thing to get over but, Im sure she will find someone that wants her and only her.

Can anyone be kind and give me some advice?

How should I tell a girl that I like her. I mean how to begin the conversation?

Thank you

Dr. AskerCan anyone be kind and give me some advice?
Ok, that depends on two things. Are you or are you not shy when she's around?

Whether you're shy or not doesn't matter too much cause you've got to do what you gotta do. Here's perhaps how you should start. Modify it to your needs.

First, start with a 'Hi' or a 'Hey! Wassup' or if you're daring, say 'How you doin'?'. A normal hi, like how you call your friends.

Then an easy question, like 'how was your weekend?' or 'how you bin'?'. NEVER ask a question involving studies cause she'll think you're a nerd.

Then, a compliment. Make sure it's very polite and sweet and don't make it sound like you're interested. Ex- ' I heard that you're selected in the play, Congrats! Great work' or ' You've got an amazing voice, why didn't you tell me you sing so well?' Make her blush and feel like you're charming.

Then compliments on her dress. VERY important if you wanna succeed. ' I like your pants, where did you get them?' or ' What a really cool shirt, it brings out the colour in your eyes'. Ask questions which make them talk about themselves. They love that.

Then, you move in and ask a casual question, like ' So you're free this saturday, wanna hang out?' or ' I'm goin' out to a movie, wanna come?' If you ask nice and polite and all the above compliments work, and she likes you, she's bound to accept.

Then, you can maybe tell her that you like her or you've been interested in her for a while. Or else just end with a 'See you then' Buh! Bye' or 'Great! I can't wait'

See her expression. If she blushes, it means you've got your girl, but handle with care. If she just keeps a plain face, it means you're goin' too fast and you need to slow down.

But, from what I can assess from your questioning, I'd say you're a daring and bold person. So, don't worry, dude. No worries if you start out with a stammer, you'll eventually pick up and speak better.

Another important piece of advice. 'Play to your strengths and also play to her character' Make sure she knows what kinda guy you are. Don't boast, just prove it to her.

If she's, you know, bossy, then don't over rule her but don't become her slave. If she's kind %26amp; sweet ( which is how she should be ), then don't make her your slave, just make sure you pay lots of attention to her. If she's naughty but caring sometimes, be just like her.

Have as much as you can with her and she'll understand that you're a great guy to be around.

Also, don't compete with other boys or pick a fight in front of her. That'll form a bad impression about you.

Hope this helps you. Say what's in your mind, don't prepare a speech. Remember, you are who you are and you should be proud of that and you should make her understand that. Good luck

'All the best'; :-)Can anyone be kind and give me some advice?
If you know her you start out having a good conversation. Make her laugh and all that, be friendly but don't be long because you have a point to get to. Make sure your in private, the worst thing is people in your business. and you tell her that you have some imortant to tell her. Don't make it seem super serious like you have cancer or something but tell her be the person she knows and likes that you are felling her or that you like her.
Begin with a smile - warmly and sincerely

sometimes eyes are much better than fancy words - no need to practise and prepare because u love her - there will be magic in between

good luck! Dr.Asker!
say this:

';i wanted to say something to you. the first day i saw you i have been willing to get something off my chest.i have been having these feelings, unexplainable feelings, i always smile to myself and have such beautiful images in my mind. images of me and you, walking, holding hands. i've been trying to tell myself, what is this? is it normal? then i knew, itz love, i love you, ur my world, if you leave me i'll never be able to live.';

there, easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talk to her about anything just talk you don't need to tell her you like her right away show her you like her talk to her thats the best you can do if you didn't like then would you talk to her? well come on man are you man or a mouse?all girls want is to be talk to not at not about but to. Get it? I hope you do.
send her a message on phone

a small card

or do her a favor..

help her out on something she despirately need

all girls need help somewhere somehow .

Be smart to find out
Man, i really don't know. in a way, i am in the same boat that you are. But i will say, if you and the girl don't already talk, you might just want to start with a conversasion like regular, if you've never talked to this girl before, it would be very wierd for you to just go up to her and be like , ';hey, i like you';. then her response would probably be something like, ';and you are??';
Talk TO her as she is a person not an idol, don't set her up so high(in your own mind) as to think that you shouldn't talk to her. Be real.
well you don't need to begin with a conversation..just ask her out on a date..make her feel like you have this connection with her you dont want to let go of..then just start giving out some clues to ways that you like her for example, opening doors, doing things for her etc...she'll start giving in sooner or later and maybe you won't need to start with ';how do you feel about me'; because we girls know it when someone wants to be a part of our lives..at least some of us..showing that you care about her than anything else gives her the clue you really like her..not just that but you have to care for her in order to like her thats just how it works, not because she's pretty and popular but yeah...so just remember ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. nonverbal communications always work for me =) good luck now
Do she know you ? Then start by saying a simple ';hai'; . Then give her a rose (almost all girls are fond of roses) and tell her '; this is for you my dear '; romantically . Then tell her ';I love you'; . Make her know that you care for her . It is the very essential thing you need. Treat her friends as your own whether they are boys or girls. Don't be shy or get tensed when you converse with her.

';BEST WISHES';
hey, do i look like you without your hat and my glasses? hahaha. beneath our disguise...

yep, be the superman inside you, pal. tell her you're awkward, shaking, whatever, but be courageous and honest. i don't agree to flattery. i agree to courage and honesty. that's more likely to impress a girl properly.
You need to start by flattering her, saying she looks nice etc. That will get her attention and know that you like her, it will pretty easy to see whether she feels the same by her response.
Put yourself out on a limb and take a chance. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.Try this;

Hey gorgeous I think you're really hot. Any chance of a date?

I was pregnant with twins and I lost my babies, please give me some advice?

My fiance has been very understanding and caring about this situation, but I feel angry, I feel angry at this situation and I just feel bad I lost my two babies, I wanted to keep them, but my body did not withstand it. Please provide me with some advice, things have been very hectic for me lately, all this happened 4 days ago, and I dont know what to do.I was pregnant with twins and I lost my babies, please give me some advice?
I am so sorry for your losses I completely feel for you and I know how it feels to lose a baby. I had a stillbirth at 22weeks May 2008 and then had a miscarriage at 7weeks August 2008. It has been over 7 months and about a week or so I completely broke down and was crying because I was thinking about my son. A lot of these other people are telling you to go see a counselor and all that...you don't need to!!! It is perfectly fine to greieve your losses, and cry when you feel sad don't be ashamed, you will be ok and your partner will be there to help you through it too, remember he has also lost the babies. My fiance cried too because he was looking forward to being a daddy just as much as I was looking dorward to being mommy. Once again I am so sorry sweetie, if you want to talk to me you can e-mail me.I was pregnant with twins and I lost my babies, please give me some advice?
All I can tell you is that, in time, things won't hurt so badly. Miscarriage is a very painful experience. Just remember that you didn't do anything to make this happen; it was unavoidable. You did your best.

I know that these sound like hollow words after a miscarriage, but they're true words. Just let yourself feel the anger and sadness. Don't feel too disappointed if you occasionally feel angry or sad randomly over the next few months, even when you think you're over it. Give yourself time to heal. If you don't feel like going to a baby shower, or other baby related function, feel free to opt out. Buy a bracelet or some other memento to remember the your babies. Remember that losing these babies doesn't mean that you'll lose any pregnancies after this.

I feel for you because I'm still there myself.
I lost twins too, in fact I lost many pregnancies... I do have 3 beautiful children that I conceived after years of struggle and a near death experience. I'll always remember my losses however I think about the positive in my life and my future. Allow yourself to grieve, that's normal to feel mad and sad etc... then try to focus on your future. Take preventive measures in the future, like tests (via infertility) to rule out any preventable reason, so you can be prepared when you are ready to try again in the future. Don't listen to any dr. that tells you that you need another miscarriage to go there, that's not true.
Maybe you should seriously consider whether or not those ';babies'; were a loss. Millions of sperm die in the effort to fertilze an egg and 30 some eggs die as they are passed through you. These babies never even had a conception of their future to be sad about losing. You did, of course, but that future could have belonged to any egg and sperm that happened to hook-up inside of you. Get pregnant again and give life to a another baby who would have never been born had these two not died. Isn't it just as sad to think about that potential baby never getting a chance at life as it is to think about these ones? In my opinion, in the fetal stage, they are deserving of no more respect than any other unconscious organism. I know this might not be how you feel, but I'm simply stating my opinion and this is how I would react to a miscarraige. Of course, I'm not in the mind set of someone who's been pregnant and therefore has had chemicals flooding my brain to get me pumped up about motherhood.
I am so sorry for loss. My husband's cousin went through the same thing last year. She was pregnant with twin girls, but they had a lot of medical problems and she lost them. She was very upset too, considering she is at the point in her life when all of her friends are married and either expecting or have children. She talked and blogged about her feelings and that seemed to help a lot. She got pregnant again not too long after her miscarriage with another girl. Throughout her pregnancy she really didn't get her hopes up because of the previous situation, but this time she gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl. Her and her husband love their daughter so much and really appreciate the miracle. I hope your situation gets better and if you try again you have great success. Just hang in their. It can only go up from here.
First of all I am sorry that you had lost your twins. And it's okay to feel sad and angry and overall despair over this. It's not easy to go through a miscarriage. Perhaps you can talk to a counsellor about it. Or talk to someone who you feel like you can trust. It's not easy, but talking may well ease a bit of your feelings. Try going for a run/shouting/punching a pillow. Vent out your feelings. Over time, it'll get better. But remember, it wasn't your fault that a miscarriage happened. I wish you the best.
Give yourself time. You don't get over things like this in a day or a week or a month. Grieving is a process, you will be angry, you will be sad, and eventually you will learn to be hopeful again. Just allow yourself to experience the range of feelings and share those feelings with your husband. Or talk to a grief counselor who specializes in pregnancy loss.

I'm sorry for the loss of your babies. Good luck in the future. It will get better, slowly.
hi! im sorry for your lost..i have never expirienced it..but my mother has 2 times one born and died one unborn and died..

maybe you should talk about it with someone or some therapy/club..that can help you talk with you threw your tuff times.

my mom always puts a candle on everynight for both baby's shes lost and for her thats a way to show she will never forget them and she will always love them in there heart. but know that even if you think it wasnt ment to happen..they were little souls that still go to heaven.

be strong and stay strong life is still going and you can always have a nother chance.

fiance wont understand because he is not you!

onless the baby's were born but ..i think i know what your going threw.

god bless and dont you worry.
Well sweetie, I've never been through this so I really don't know what to say other than I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I can not even imagine the roller coaster of emotions you are riding on right now. I can tell you that it's normal. I think we'd be more worried if you weren't! Just take it one day at a time. Don't hold it in. When you want to cry, cry. When you want to yell, yell. When you want to punch something, find a pillow and beat the hell out of it. But please don't give up hope that one day you will have a baby. Just because this awful thing has happened to you doesn't mean there isn't hope. Maybe counseling would help. Maybe there is a local support group that you could look into. No matter what you decide just know that our thoughts are with you and we are wishing you the best.
omg i cry when i watch those baby 911 shows and a mother loses her baby i really couldn't imagine how much that would hurt.. all i could suggest might be i dunno counseling u might even need like xanax or something i'd be a complete mess i'm so sorry

Did you have identical twins (one placenta)? If so, there is a good change you could have had TTTS. Let me know.

There is also a good message board on the link above for loss.

Sorry for your loss.
There really isnt much advice to give.. Maybe talk to a grief counselor, and understanding family members... It will get better.

I'm sorry for your loss.
Only time will truely help you heal.

maybe speak to a couseller about it too

So sorry for your loss

Acting advice needed!!!! Please help; this could be a great chance for me!!?

There`s a good chance that I might get a screenplay published and I really want to be in it. I need some acting tips and things. Please help!!!!Acting advice needed!!!! Please help; this could be a great chance for me!!?
I hate to say this, but don't be yourself at all. Be the character. Actually think as the character. Wear clothes the character would wear, react to things as the character would, speak as they would, and try to really get in their mind. It's not as easy as it sounds, and not quite as hard. It's harder. I'm not trying to discourage you. I'm just warning you that it's harder than it sounds. Don't stress, but really dedicate yourself and it will show in your acting.Acting advice needed!!!! Please help; this could be a great chance for me!!?
A minor point. Screenplays are produced not published.

As for the acting. Pick up a book called acting for the camera by

Tony Barr. It has helped me.
Take a class if you can. If not then act naturally like you would anyday. The most realistic acting is taking a part of yourself
Depending on how much time you have, you might want to try auditioning for a community theatre part. It will give you an experience that you can't get from a web site or a book. You'll learn how an entire production is put together. You'll have an opportunity to see what happens at an audition, and to see what goes on behind the scenes. It's a great experience.
acting tips? go to an acting class-there is no way to explain acting over the internet.

also the chances that you will be cast in your own screenplay are incredibly minimal. you shouldn't waste your time.

when was the last time you saw ';written and starred in'; in credits before the person was a well established actor.
Hey Haily,

Best of luck, here is a search that has many sites. Surf all night long.
How big's your ego.

I once knew a guy who hung around people who were actors and singers and he wrote and he had a script and he expected to star in it and direct it and I laughed...

And Good old Billy Bob has the last laugh on me when he finally did it and got oscar nominations for Sling Blade.

Now, how big's your ego?

His was TREMENDIOUS!

  • I love my longtime boyfriend so much! What are some good ideas to surprise him? Any advice would be great!?

We are also getting married next year! He popped the question April 14th 2006! He's really Sweet %26amp; I love him to death!!I love my longtime boyfriend so much! What are some good ideas to surprise him? Any advice would be great!?
If you know what his Fav. things are its Easy

If he likes Sports, take him to a game, when %26amp; were is fav. team is playing, but don't tell him that your taken him... make him think that you going to go do some that he rather not be doing... Such as girl stuff... Shop, at like your going to go look at a Flower Fest. Or a Meusem.. Something like that. So when he gets there He will Be surpised. And he will Know how much you Know and love Him..

And you should Get cuddles, kisses and I love you's also.I love my longtime boyfriend so much! What are some good ideas to surprise him? Any advice would be great!?
Invite a friend over and give him a 3 some. He will love you forever.
I hate to be rude too! BUT next time you're having sex stick your finger up his bum, He will be VERY surprised!!
A classy watch is always a great gift for a guy. Or something else that he can wear for special occaisions, or even erery day.
Put a tripwire on the stairs.

He will be surprised I can tell you

    I'm going to be a freshmen...any advice?

i'm scared. my friends got into specialized high schools so none of my friends will be in the high school i'm going to. and these bunch girls that hate me a lot will be there=[ please help?I'm going to be a freshmen...any advice?
High School is so much different form Middle School. Its really big so I doubt you will have trouble making friends or being made fun of by the mean girls. I mean I saw people form my middle on the last day of Freshman year that I thought moved but they were there the whole time. What you need to worry about is education.

Just get involved with extra curricular stuff, helps both problems.I'm going to be a freshmen...any advice?
not from me. its my first time too
There is such a bigger world outside of high school. Dont be afraid to just be you. Try to meet other people. Ignore the ones who hate you. Just remeber you only live once. This is your life to live. I am 24 now and those girls who hated and were so popular arent doing very well with their low incomes and plenty of kids. I just wish I was a little more outspoken back in the high school days.
My advise would be regarding academics. Get a good start early. It is so hard to bring up a bad GPA versus the amount of slacking it takes to bring down a good one. That is if you're really interested in an education.
You should join a bunch of clubs and organizations and sports so you can make connections.
just go and do your stuff

    things will flow.

sounds simple but if you follow guidelines you will be one of those fake people you hate
Get involved in school activities and clubs - anything that interests you. Hold you head up high, and don't worry about the girls you say hate you alot. Who knows; alot of other people may not like them either. Find some people who like things similar to what you like and hang out with them. Soon you'll have alot of friends. Do good in your studies, too!
freshman year in highschool is easy.. you will gradually be eased into life as a highschooler.. everything is new to you and teachers understand that ... goodluck! be yourself and study and be smart and make friends everything will be fine
Work hard in school, friends will follow!
Make friends with a school bully like myself.
    i know how u feel!!!!
dont worry freshman is never that great for anyone anyways but if your worried about friends join some clubs or join some sports or band even if you never done them before or you suck at them it never hurts to try and there is usually someone willing to talk to you and want to be your friend. try not to slip into the wrong group and try not to be jealous if your old friends make new friends just keep in touch

    hope everything turns out good
well it's tough, you will loose a lot of friends and you will gain others also. Don't worry no one will harrase you or something. High School is really fun if you joing groups and sports, just don't feel left out.
join a team or club. seriously, it works. also look around your classes. see anybody you'd like to be friends with? ask them for help with homework or whatever....then start talking about other stuff. if it doesn't work at first just keep trying. there maybe some girls there whodon't like you, but not everyone does. just give them a chance to get to know you. and don't change yourself to get people to like you. that's always a big mistake. and if you find yourself alone on weekends rent a movie and have a guiltfree self-splurge fest. or read a really good book. being alone everynow and then isn't necissarily a bad thing.
I know how you feel I might not be going into freshman but I am going into 7th but I'm going into a new school so I know what you mean by not having none of your friends in your school, but don't let those mean girls bother you there just a bunch of snobs who think there popular and have nothing better to do with there life so act natural and don't let them see that there getting to you because if they see that there gonna keep on doing it to you but the best thing to do is ignore them and I wish you a lot of luck in your freshman year!
That was me last year! Well don't worry you'll get through it but just don't start trouble and make some new friends. :]
i dont know what to tell you bout the girls that hate you but im going to be a freshman to and i think the only thing you can do is be yourself and dont be nervous
    BE YOURSELF!!!

Let them hate as much as they want! Don't let them hurt your character. Get good grades, always to the right thing, and be the best that you can be!
